MOKSHA FEST – DAY 2 – FOR FEMMES
January 21 @ 9:00 pm - 11:00 pm| $10
MOKSHA FEST: THE LAST SHOW
You are invited to the LAST EVENT EVER AT MOKSHA on January 20th and January 21st! We have been blessed with so many incredible performances since we turned Moksha into a venue space three years ago. But after 13 years at this location, our run in the UDistrict has come to an end … and we are moving to Chinatown Spring 2017!
We’ve decided to go out in style with a two day arts festival, doing what we love most: celebrating brilliant artists – all while saying goodbye to the legacy of this space. This last event will also help us raise the funds needed for our move and renovations of our new space.
• Fri, 1/20 and Sat, 1/21
• Times TBA
• All ages, drinks for 21+
Each night will be themed. The first night is a hip hop night, and the second night (international womxns’ day) is a rad line up entirely of femme-identified people. Then we’ll close out each night with sounds curated by our favorite local dj’s. There will also be local vendors selling their art each night! If you’re interested in vending, hit up Jordan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Day 2 – For Femmes on 1/21 (int’l womxns’ day)
• Ball culture dance showcase, hosted by Tracey Wong
• Au Collective dance showcase
• Donte Johnson “Da Qween”
• Dance party hosted by Women.Weed.WiFi
